Cristin Iosif is a tech enthusiast and he is very passionate about everything that has to do with computers, web, mobile and startups in this domains all around the world.

A 4th year student at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Faculty of Computer Science. He’s currently the President of the Students Organization from The Technical University of Cluj – Napoca (OSUT), one of the largest and most active students organization from Romania, with over 300 active members and over 70 projects developed annually. A 5 years experience in volunteering work helped him to improve his social and communication skills, but also helped him develop good management and organisational skills. In the past years he was involved in organizing different events, starting with small events dedicated to students and later evolved in organizing local and national events with hundreds of participants.

He’s also the CEO of “#defineCluj”, a conference started in 2013 and dedicated to students and young professionals from the IT&C field. This event aims to encourage students and young professionals from the IT&C field to start their own businesses. The main goal of the event is to bring entrepreneurs from the local, national & international level to share their stories about start-ups that made a difference and this way inspire the younger generations.

iMedicare is a start-up based in Cluj and New York City and we admire entrepreneurial initiatives in Romania.
